This winter had been a long and arduous one. Record cold, record snow for longer periods have all taken their toll on the psyche. I am ready for warmer weather. Thank goodness it is March! In two weeks it will be the official end of winter and beginning of Spring - I am ready for it.
Spring in this part of the world is a beautiful time with a myriad of flowering trees, bushes and gardens full of blooms. Alas, there might not be any Jacarandas or Msasa trees, but evidence of new life will still abound.
Events in the Middle-East have shown how quickly tyrants and governments can be overthrown, as well as the violence that despots will go to to hold on to power. However, any hope that Zimbabwe would be on the list seems to have been quelled by the reports of violence and intimidation on a large scale. Sadly, once again, the community of nations turns it's back on that country.
The Silence is once again Deafening.
Caught up in all of this are the Pensioners. Since we first started in this business we have been committed to help support these dear needy people. Their plight continues. As events and life in Zimbabwe continue to deteriorate, we are ever appreciative of the efforts of those who care of the elderly. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Memories of Rhodesia is committed to supporting those old-age pensioners that are economic prisoners in Zimbabwe. 10% of our revenue goes to this cause. Working with Hope Unlimited, an established Christian organization, 100% of all monies are channeled through them.
The funds are then donated to various organizations, who are doing a great job caring for the aged.
